New colorful kindergartens
Two modern kindergartens are being built at Dobra and Staroprzygodzka streets. The new kindergartens will be colourful, ecological and child - friendly.
- Although the holiday season is in full swing, we are not taking breaks at the construction of two new kindergartens. We are visiting today two kindergartens at Dobra and Staroprzygodzka streets. The facade of the kindergarten at Dobra Street looks really friendly. Installation and finishing works are currently underway on both buildings. This is the last and most difficult stage of work. At the same time, we build the fence so that the youngest can feel safe. There is also a playground, we planted new trees, shrubs and perennial. There is still a lot of work, but we are doing everything so that we can meet at the opening of both kindergartens in September. Keep fingers crossed! - says Beata Klimek, Mayor of Ostrów Wielkopolski.
Both kindergartens are very modern and eco – friendly. They are built in the technology of passive construction, which is maximally energy-efficient. Photovoltaic panels will be an ecological source of electricity. There will also be drainage installations with tanks that will manage and use rainwater. In addition, an ecological garden will be created at Staroprzygodzka Street, which will be used by kids.
-We are making the preparations for the beginning of the school. Works on the construction of two new kindergartens are already at an advanced stage. The walls are already up and the buildings are taking shape and colour, but there is still a lot of work to do. The last stage is the most difficult - emphasizes Mikołaj Kostka, deputy mayor of Ostrów Wielkopolski.
The kindergarten at Dobra Street is a large facility for several hundred children, including children with disabilities and the youngest residents of our city, for whom a nursery section will be prepared. On the other hand, the facility at Staroprzygodzka Street is a kindergarten with 12 departments dedicated for almost 300 youngest inhabitants of Ostrów Wielkopolski.
The construction of new kindergartens is a task carried out as part of the Ostrów Investment Express. In addition, the kindergarten at Staropodzka Street is one of the tasks of the "E-Ostrów 2050. Ecological, energy and economic city", program with subsidies from the EEA and the state budget.
