The office is even friendlier

80 employees of the Town Hall of Ostrów Wielkopolski take part in the trainings that focus on professional and comprehensive contact with residents. The goal of the  trainings is to make the Town Hall  even more friendly office for residents.
- Ostrów Wielkopolski is one of the cities that have received grants from the EEA funds. The implementation of the winning project in Ostrów also includes trainings which are focused on increasing employees’ competences and  communication skills that enable them to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents - says Andrzej Baraniak, Secretary of the City of Ostrów Wielkopolski.
The trainings are carried out as part of the project "E-Ostrów 2050 - Ecological, Energy, Economic City". Its aim is to  improve the employees’ competences  related to professional and comprehensive service for residents.

 The meetings are conducted by personal development coach Adam Pluciński.

Participants of the training will expand their knowledge and skills in the field of:
 effective communication,
   assertiveness and coping with emotions,
    recognizing customer needs,
    communication styles and matching the communication style to the style of the interlocutor,
    rules of accessibility in communication,
    proceedings in difficult and non-standard situations, including:
o alleviating conflict situations,
o feedback techniques.

80 employees who have direct contact with residents undergo two-day training in customer service. Meetings last throughout November and have been arranged in such a way that they do not hinder the daily work of the office.

The task carried out as part of the project entitled "E - Ostrów 2050 - Ecological, Energy, Economic City" co-financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the state budget under the "Local Development" Programme.
